“Lucid”, meaning to be expressed clearly, and “Ludic” – a play on letters of the french “ludique” – which means playful, fun, even dreamy.
LUCID LUDIC was founded in Montreal in 2009, by Taliesin McEnaney, theatre artist and director, and Sandy Bessette, dancer and circus artist. Now based in Toronto, LUCID LUDIC is a company specializing in devising physical and visually striking theatre, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and exploring the unifying power of live performance.
